Bhatinda: Sh Harish Chaudhary, Secretary AICC and Incharge Punjab Affairs alongwith S Deepinder Singh Hooda, MP and Chairman Social Media cell AICC today met S Ravnit Singh Bittu MP from Ludhiana in the Bhatinda Jail. S Ravnit Singh Bittu is currently in the judicial custody till the 31st October 2015, in two cases registered against him at a police station in Bhatinda during the protest for the farmer’s of Punjab.
Sh Chaudhary has conveyed his party Vice president Sh Rahul Gandhi feelings to Bittu that in this hour the party stands besides the young leader for taking this bold initiative for the cause of farmers. He further conveyed that the situation in Punjab is not good that’s why the party Vice President and the senior leaders have appealed to Bittu to get his bail done and work for the betterment of the state from outside. The present situation needs him more in the field. We hope he gets bail soon and work to restore peace and harmony in the state.
Sh Deepinder Hooda MP and chief Whip of the party in Parliament said that S Bittu has taken up the cause of farmers of Punjab who are in a very bad shape due to anti farmer policies of the Modi and Badal Government.
